Playing Rules
This is a handicapped event intended to promote practice & learning in a fun & competitive environment.
- Bowlers must have a current USBC Membership to participate.
- Tournaments will run on Friday nights from May 17 through August 16, 2024.
- We will not bowl on Friday June 28 or Friday July 5, 2024
- Weekly Tournament patterns are listed on our website (3960bowling.com)
- Handicap will be figured at 80% of 220. Maximum Handicap will be 60 pins.
- Average Determination will be as follows:
- Bowlers highest posted composite average on Bowl.com over the last 3 Seasons (2020-2021 Season) converted to Sport Average.
- Bowlers without an average may enter with a 220 average.
- Tournament Series Averages will be kept with running Pin Totals and Tournament Averages.
- Tournament Directors have the authority to re-rate bowlers as deemed necessary.
- Check-In will start at approximately 6:30 PM with a 15 minute practice period starting at 7:00 PM.
- Weekly entry fee will be $40.00.
- Lineage will be paid at a rate of $3.00/game.
- Overhead Expenses: $5.00
- 100% of the remaining entry fee will be for the Prize Fund.
- Refund Policy
- A refund will be subject to a $10 cancellation fee, to a bowler who withdraws prior to the start of the tournament at the Tournament Directors discretion based on withdrawal circumstances.
- No refund will be issued once the tournament has started.
- Youth bowlers are welcome!
- All Youth Bowler winnings will be paid in the form of scholarships.
- Scholarships will be held in the USBC SMART program.
- Weekly Tournament Format will be determined based on number of entries.
- We will utilize Bracket, Eliminator & Beat the Board formats.
- Weekly Tournament Payout will be based on format and number of entries.
- We will keep the payout ratio to as close to 1:8 as possible, determined based on number of entries.
- Payouts will be received every week at the conclusion of each tournament and will be paid in the form of either Cash or Check.
- Conduct
- All tournament bowlers shall always conduct themselves in a professional manner while in the bowling center, on the property of the bowling center and on social media.
- Protests
- All protests must be filed with the Tournament Directors immediately.
- Tournament Directors will have the final ruling on all protests.
